Really not my type of game.
As expected the gameplay is simplistic (very basic puzzles that requires no thinking - just press A when told to, serviceable combat, very limited exploration) but I've been let down by an incomprehensible story, bad dialogs, hit or miss voice acting (some are noticeably bad).

A really boring experience, the game is always going over and over again on the same topic. The gameplay is more like a forest walking simulator than a complete game.
This game is a great game that stimulates the player's imagination. But the disadvantage is that the game play is monotonous.
One of, if not the only games I have played that was my favorite story and gameplay I have ever played. I felt possessed to keep playing with no matter what just to get to the ending! I also loved all the DLC's.
I really enjoyed Alan Wake 2. It's a great psychological thriller with some enjoyable twists. I thought the dual protagonist storyline was neat, especially with how the game allows you to switch at any point. Combat can be iffy at times but is overall good. The collectables and extras are
I finally finished Alan Wake 2 after plugging at it here and there for months. It was really great! I loved the crazy story going back and forth between Alan and Saga, all of the video segments mixed in, and the musical section! The tie in to the Control/Remedy universe,
I didn’t expect this game to change my life. I picked up Alan Wake 2 after seeing the “Champion of Light” musical performance at The Game Awards. It looked cool, weird, and stylish—so I followed the rabbit hole. What I found was so much more.
This was my first Alan Wake
A rare specimen of a sequel finally coming out over a decade later and not only living up to but outright surpassing expectations.
Bad to the bone. Fun, scary, not over whelming like most horror games are for me. Best audio, great visuals, Though provoking music. I love reading emails on pcs lol.
The original Alan Wake is one of my favorite horror games of all time. Its gameplay may not hold up well today, but overall, the game is still solid. The atmosphere really pulled me in when the game was released, and here I am now, 13 years later, living in
Great story and gameplay , beautiful graphic. I really enjoy playing it on xsx.
Don't believe the hype. A complete snoozefest. As engaging as watching paint dry. As a shooter; a complete dud. One of the most annoying shooting mechanics ever. And why oh why does saving a game have to be so difficult - like from the era of 8bit Nintendo. Really annoying.
