This was almost the complete opposite of XIII. I had a lot of fun with it even though I still haven't finished it!
Despite all the negativity around this game, this is personally my favorite Final Fantasy. Yes, it could have been so much greater ; yes, they cut the story short ; yes, it has flaws... And yet it's brilliant. This is a sort of action-RPG, but in the odd form of
Pros: Large open world full of things to explore, Great interaction between the 4 main protagonists, Fantastic soundtrack Cons: Narrative structure is a disaster, Combat is a tad messy, Obnoxious use of product placement, Lacking when compared to a host of better open-world games
