You filthy Chinese bastrds are hands down the worst game developers I’ve ever seen. It’s obvious that Chinese people are constantly trying to make up for something—since their gen!tals aren’t developed enough, they’re always just copying others. Now there’s another focking stamina bar, and they’ve thrown in enemies that are
A linear game built with sincerity and intention. The graphics, story, and music are exquisite, successfully transporting players into a different dimension
Black Myth: Wukong is one of the most visually impressive games I’ve played, with beautiful environments and amazing graphics, but underneath all that polish I found it boring and repetitive.
It gets labeled as Souls like, but to me it felt completely soulless. After the first several hours, the game
As you level up it does not truly make the character stronger.
No blocking only dodge.
Poor character development
The character attack design could have been a lot better
It is a beauty of a game. The combat just never clicked with me fully and I didn't get to see my combat expand because I got stuck on boss about 15-20 hours in.
My game of the year for 2024. The atmosphere, the combat, the detail, the ability to create your own build and combat style all meshes and comes together to create this masterpiece.
You have to dig deep into the original story of Journey to the West to fully understand the game.
This is a GREAT game! on of the best game i've played. But the there's a bug/glitch that hinders me from achieving all 35 trophies. I can't get another Lambbrew drink after I upgraded it to Dry Spirit. I'm on NG+4, yet the Lambbrew didn't show under the altar
Wukong has a well designed combat system with above average level design, it's story is for those who already read the Chinese novel Journey to the West, without reading the novel the story feels like you are missing out things that you should know. The bosses and the variety of
me when monkey with staff go boom boom
Though not as great as Elden Ring, this game feels like a little brother of Elden Ring. Anyways, Wukong managed to create a souls-like game that undeniably looks beautiful. The setting that is made for the protagonist is absolutely attractive and alluring to
Game is pretty repetitive, and graphics are mid. Game struggles to differentiate itself from all the other "souls like" games. Story is a bait and switch as adds and beginning make it seem like you will be playing the story of the monkey king, when in reality you are just
I play games to relax, not to add another source of frustration in my life. If a developer doesn't provide an option to adjust the difficulty, the game simply isn't for me. I tried eight times to get past the first mini-boss and still couldn't. Sorry, but I'll pass.
For a long time I gave up on playing games since the heyday of Quake, Tribes, Half Life and Diablo 2 newer games have never lived up to the hype.
Four years ago I came across a trailer for Black Myth Wukong and the game looked so good everyone thought it
only problem this game has was the optimization issue it was not big of a problem to me tbh because of the graphics it was sure of requirements being that big this game was story rich i dont why people were saying it was a copy of journey to the
Live this game. Deserves a lot more respect that its already getting. Unfortunately it was met with clear resistance from the west. Its not perfect and neither was elden ring but its dam sure good enough to be GOTY 2024.
Poor game design, maybe the only appreciatable thing in this game is its graphics, which is literally just scanned from real-life spot, nothing noteable and the fanbase going insane
Great graphics, a highly free combat system, innovative music, creative character design, a rich world view, and even each character has his own background story. The animation after each chapter is also very exquisite, and the whole game is addictive.
Incredibly detailed world of characters and locations, it is a joy for the eyes.
