Very interesting game with a big emphasis on stealth and adventure. The developers are British and the map is modelled after the lake District in Cumbria, so looks stunning.
This game gives a insight into Northern English culture and geography which makes it very unique on the market.
Didn't get too far. The rodent and bug combat was uninspiring. The world felt dead.
The game feels like a flower that hasn't blossom yet.
The game location and visuals are great and something new and fresh, but the techincal realization is low and outdated.
Gameplay mechanics are bad and quests are repetitive.
Quest progression and general world movement feel like a dishonored game.
A flawed gem?
Despite its - admittedly - numerous flaws, Atomfall has made it into my personal Top 10 of 2025 (so far). With this completely new IP, Rebellion has made a radical break from the familiar development practices, presenting a game that is primarily defined by its minimalist quest and
This game is for those who always wanted a British survival/mystery game. The story is what will suck you in and make you forget about the repetitive combat. THe look of the world is beautiful and awwing.
Cool game about an apocalyptic zone that is completely broken by bad AI and bad script. I just stopped playing 6 hours in when I'm in a really big bunker that I've cleared, turn around and turn around again and there are new enemies around me. ffs

I'm about 6 hours in and loving it as a fan of survival games. I like the way combat works although tricky at first because you get winded fast. The exploration is great, and the mystery is interesting.
Atomfall sets out with an ambitious goal: to deliver a non-linear post-apocalyptic experience inspired by the atmosphere of Fallout. While it partially succeeds in establishing a mysterious and moody world, it ultimately fails to maintain player interest due to weak storytelling and underdeveloped mechanics.
The game starts off strong, throwing you
Truly one of the best games I played so far in 2025. If I had to compare it to other games, I would mention S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , Prey (2017) and even Dishonored for some sections.
Combat is not the main focus. You need to find clues to complete your objectives, so it's
Just finished Atomfall. It was just ok. Took me 9.5 hrs to finish on PC, so this isn't a huge epic game like it might seem at first. Even with there being multiple paths to follow. It was still super vague and didn't feel like a good pay off.
It did
The inventory system is very bad, it fills up very quickly, and because you constantly have to store items, you get bored of the game quickly. The main story of the game is also very weak and confusing because there are tasks popping up from everywhere, and because of this,
