Really fun gameplay, It's really cool to collaborate with people to succeed, and the extraction loop is great.
I’ve never bothered with a review here and probably never will again, but these unfair 1-star ratings demand a response. As a longtime gamer who’s rarely hooked anymore, Arc Raiders blew me away. Its seamless blend of accessible raids and deep, replayable systems—think endless build variety and dynamic AI threats—sets
if u want to do the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and
I just created an account here to give 5 stars to this game. I don't enjoy an online game like I am right now since World of Warcraft was a good game (Wrath Of The Lich King days).
It has everything. Interaction with people, great coop and PvP, smart npcs that
Perfection personified!! Best rendition of an extraction shooter to date! Embark understood the assignment as an intern and then went on to become the CEO of the genre. Hats off to the team who worked on this!
Another generic looter shooter with no real soul, just endless grinding disguised as “team action.”
Pretty visuals, no reason to care.
Keep it simple..... truly epic, one of the best games of the year and best mutiplayer game in years.
I've got 5 hours on it right now, but in those 5 hours I've beaten and battered countless robots and killed some players all while having the best time I've had for a while. This is a very good game with a very easy learning curve.
Arc raiders would make an amazing free-to-play game. Right now there's not enough content there. Also, the lack of PVE friendly servers or environments is astonishing. This game has amazing robot combat. There does not need to be forced combat between players.
Game of the year hands down.
Heres a copy and paste i sent to my friends in discord during the server slam:
its good! really good! they have a really good (id go as far as saying perfect) balance of the gameplay loop in an extraction shooter, in my opinion. by
Not sure why is it always when it comes to shooter games that it has to come to this level? Lacks on Genuinity, creativity, and flavor of variety and challenge. they are all the same, just copy and paste from each other.
Game could use some tweaks but overall it's one the best multiplayer extraction shooters I've played. Love this game!
One the best multiplayer game already created. The AI in the ARC is the best in the history of video games
This game brings me back to what gaming is all about, the choices and adventure. I have not played a game that gripped my excitement this much since The Division, every moment is an edge-of-the-seat moment, whether its the sound of ARC approaching or just hearing footsteps close by without
My main favorite part is basically being able to jump into the low-level area for a safer easier run and then go to the high-level areas as a more dangerous run when I have the time and energy.
Arc Raiders is a stunning example of style over substance.
Beneath the flashy visuals and heavy soundtrack lies a hollow looter-shooter with no soul. The combat feels weightless, the progression meaningless, and the world utterly forgettable
Everything looks like it should be fun, yet somehow never is.
