It's pretty much my "botw" of extraction shooters.
I used to think that the genre was oversaturated, I thought that a lot of studios just jumped on a glimpse of trend because they feared they would miss on the new "battleroyale craze"
And I was somewhat right. Things like The Cycle Frontier
It's a pitt like warframe. Stuff is locked by levels/ pre-reqs but then you need the mats and the mats are broken down into levels and if you break certain things down in-game you get less but if you don't your inventory is filled up but to upgrade your inventory
i haven't been hooked on a game like this in many years. This is my first "extraction genre" videogame, and to me its the greatest game of 2025 and maybe the last 5 years.
dont let bad faith reviews like the one from euro gamer tank this games reviews. its a dame near perfect game and deserves at minimum 9/10

This game is the best I’ve played in forever. Spent over 60 hours playing since release date. I am hooked. My buddy got a new pc and made me get battlefield to play with him but that same night he said arc raiders came out and he wanted to try
Not bad not great I ran into like 10 cheaters within 2 hours so stopped playing
Enough boring multiplayer extraction shooters, make an actual video game. Stop replacing the creative process and performers with AI.
Great game, I like the mechanics and although I'd like more options for character customization and story development, I think this will be added as the game progresses. Regarding story/background, I like there's a good amount of lore so the game does not feel so "bare bones" :D. Regarding some

An outstanding game. Graphically beautiful with silky smooth frame rates. Sound design is possibly the best I've experienced. Gameplay can be tense and has been designed with thought and intelligence.
