Reliving my memories of exploration of the TES3 Morrowind. Huge and beautiful world full of mysteries is not guiding you to the next question mark or tower, but makes you discover the long forgotten curiosity. Great for those players who are tired of “junk food”/“mass market”/“Modern triple A” games.
If you want an absolutely insane world to explore and a true next level sandbox experience, this game has it in spades. There is certainly a level of buy in and investment required on the players part to get to that "let off the leash" moment. So far however, it
The hate for this game at release feels so forced by people who dont want anything new to be successful.
Yes it has it's cons. Of course. Every game has them. But the pros are WAY heavier! The world and the exploration is stunning!
The game has its strange mechanical quirks and a story more boring than Spring Breakers. But the gameplay and exploration is giving me 10/10 levels of enjoyment.
Honestly, Crimson Desert was a very disappointing experience for me.
The game suffers from clear design issues, especially when it comes to side quests. Most of them are extremely boring and repetitive, to the point where it feels like you're just doing the same thing over and over with no real
The game controls are confusing and unenjoyable, the interface, inventory system, and progression are simple and meaningless like an MMO, with independent, unproductive activities. It's a game that tries to be everything but ends up being nothing.
I want to be transparent that 7 hours into this game I would have likely given this 3.5 stars and I very much could have seen this game getting to a 4 or 4.5 stars.
The gameplay is definitely the bread and butter of what Crimson Desert is. It felt
Hit the spot of exploration. Haven’t been so immersed in a game world in years..totally recommend
Best game out.. next gen.. not the boring normal Unreal engine.. game of the year
Excelente por donde se le mire, la exploración es una gozada! Y los graficos son lo mejor de la generación y pa rematar con una optimización divina. Lo he jugado desde mi macbook air M4 hasta mi pc de torre con una 5080
If you’re tired of cookie cutter games with dead feeling open worlds, or having every puzzle answer spoon fed to you, and you want a performant, gorgeous game that will give you tons of open-ended fun instead of funnelling you through a boring story, this is it.
Crimson Desert is one of those games that hits you with a wow the moment you step into its world — and then occasionally slaps you with a “why is this like this?” five minutes later. Pearl Abyss clearly went all‑in on spectacle: the world is dense, reactive, and sometimes
great game, will be perfect with some patches... Not for casual gamers
I gave this game a solid 5/5 because the core gameplay, breathtaking open world, and intense combat are simply phenomenal. Crimson Desert offers an experience that is hard to put down. Highly recommended for any action RPG fan.
However, there are two main areas that desperately need improvement for it to
Game has been amazing 40+ hours in and cant put it down. Massive beautiful world to explore. Really feels next gen to me. So many items to discover and interact with. The game takes awhile to learn and even after 40 hours I am still learning new mechanics. Story is
This could be the game of the generation. Bear with it, once the hooks are in, it's a masterpiece. With the charm of what makes game great.
Best open world I've ever experienced. Great combat and performance and the most ambitious game I've ever played in 40 years. Shame about there being no compelling story, but that's not needed when creating tour own adventure like you can here.
Story, dialogue, controls and menus are bad. The rest is awesome.
It's not fair to evaluate this game after only 10-15 hours; giving it a low rating without seeing all of its content is unfair to the game.
