Decent game but I would only recommend it for the "git gud" crowd. It's not without it's merits but I don't think it's going to be enjoyable for anyone outside of the intended audience.
The game is overrated. It doesn't invent anything and isn't particularly original in terms of maps or combat. It's riddled with clichés. The only notable thing is that someone managed to make it fashionable to praise it. Furthermore, the difficulty isn't enjoyable, not because it's difficult due to the combat
It's a nice sequel, the gameplay loop is in my opinion more successful thanks to a better rhythm. I also loved the much more assumed staging. I recommend!
Hollow Knight—refined, sharpened, perfected (but still has its quirks). Almost twice the game, twice the challenge. I'm blown away. 10 out of 10.
