The Awakening update ruined the game. Removing all the weapons, armor, and crafting destroyed what the game was about. The intent was to make the game simpler, but in doing so, it actually made it more complicated. This is an absolute disservice to fans of this game
I have put nearly 300 hours into the game. The recent changes have murdered the spirit of the game. I had just returned. I've played a few hours with a buddy after bragging about this game to him. But the game is dead... It's over... You removed weapon crafting, charged
I've spent hundreds of hours on this game only for them to remove the CORE mechanics that made the grind worth it. DO NOT PLAY. The new "overhaul" has wiped everything. They ARE compensating veteran players, however not to an acceptable degree. It's as if you were in a crash
Though I may have not had as many hours as other players, I still spent a decent amount of time in game. What used to be a fun and engaging grind for weapons and armor has been reduced to nothing, any kind of variety for player preference has been scrubbed
The new dauntless update is absolute trash most poeple if not all of them loved the game before this new update but now it is absolute garbage
the revamp removed all the hard work and effort players placed into the game and makes it start as trash once again
never going to reinstall this game again
They overhauled the game and it's sucks!!!!!! We asked for minor tweaks in the, not like this!!!!! DEVS SUCKSS!!

They reset all my story progress. They took away the majority of my weapon and armor upgrates. They took away my ability to use almost every piece of gear until I unlock them back with story progress. The new owners ruined Dauntless in a way never seen before.
If i could give it 0 i would right now. they completely reset just about everyone's progress in the game. No more crafting weapons, instead you must purchase them with an ingame currency that you must grind for or purchase for ridiculous amounts. this new update is horrible, go back
this new update makes overwatch 2 look like a good successor to the original. deleting all the weapons and equipment I had spent hours and even days grinding for just to make them transmogs is actually abhorrent. making the game pay to win is even worse, there was an actual

Years of investing time in the game were erased with this last update... armor and items were removed, consumables too! Why didn't they just add the new stuff (maps, rework on other weapons, new behemoths)? Guys, go play something else, don't waste your time.
Dauntless was an incredible game, with fantastic build customisation through a cell system that allowed you to apply a variety of buffs of your own choosing to your character through their gear.
They have since changed the way customisation works and attached undesirable buffs that were once completely optional before
it is a very good game but the biggest problem I have is the performance, I find it too frustrating that the game is processing at 30-70 fps with a NVIDIA 3070 TI, also sometimes it gets to lag leaving me without skills such as legendary skills and among other
