Nostalgia is a tricky thing. It can drastically skew your perception of history, but it can also create a deep sense of comfort. For someone like myself, who grew up in the 90s, it’s impossible to review this game without some nostalgic biases, but consider it an extremely high level of praise when I say that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 lives up to every ounce of nostalgia

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was a huge part of my childhood. It made me want to go out and skate which I actually did. Between the ages of 9-13, I skated almost daily. I wanted to become a professional skateboarder, and well, that never happened, but the countless hours sitting in front of my Nintendo 64 or PlayStation (depending on what time period we're talking about) was memorable.

First of all, it's a remastered game, if you liked the originals, you're going to love it. It is very well done. BUT, if you were planning to play multiplayer and have fun competing with other players, you can now shoot yourself in the face. The multiplayer is HORRIBLE.
