Gameternel Stray Review

This is a satisfying little game to play, filled with puzzles, good ambiance songs and a beautiful Japan-inspired city of neons. You embody a little cat who has fallen in this lost city where live robots that behave like human beings. You learn that the world faced a terrible epidemy and thus, the humankind decided to isolate itself from the outside world. But time passed, and although walls still stand, the reasons for such an extreme isolation have waned. Robots dream of the outside world while plants grow in the dark. I found the game very clever, intuitive and enjoyable. I liked the simplicity of controls, the game design and the ideas. I actually enjoyed collecting memories in this game and even had a moment where I went "this game understands how to make collecting fun". Sometimes you need to experience it to be able to point times where this activity wasn't as fun as this time (hey Far Cry 3). I will happily try other games of the editors.
