Gameternel The Invincible Review

Dec 10, 2025
[Insert the sentence “Before this game, I wasn’t aware of this story” here] [Extra bonus: mention that you will “(…) definitely check the book after this”] **The Invincible** is a pretty good game that lets you dive into a mysterious and wide world, where you have really little to do but contemplate and follow the story. Therefore, following the trend of recent games, it makes a remarkable effort to have a very pleasing, immersive experience, from the minimalistic UI to the main gameplay mechanic. Because indeed, you could categorize this game as a “walking simulator” or just a chat with your commander. I thought there would be an aspect of mining and collecting stuff, but no, not at all. The story is not taking any detours, nor does it waste time; the approximative 7 hours it’ll take you to finish the story will feel enough, knowing how dense and rich the story is. Much more like so many games that take a radical pivot from our current societies, and especially from a floating rock in the universe, this game leaves with your thoughts. And it does it very well. I would love for this studio to make another game like this one. I would also love a continuation of this world, but I don’t think it will happen.
