Gameternel Days Gone Review

Nov 18, 2025
I found Days Gone interesting and beautiful. I loved the characters, I was impressed by all the different landscapes I have traveled and I was happy smashing zombies’ heads left and right. Hordes felt terrifyingly effective, the main story was compelling enough for me and the range of characters was convincing, too. One thing I can criticize about this game is its length and the subsequent problems that came with it. I know that nowadays in the market, big games are expected to last ~60 hours. I’m not necessarily for it. I surely don’t want to feel like the game should have stopped 10 hours earlier, even more so for a game that I, otherwise, liked very much. It was not a level of disinterest that could have pushed me to stop playing this game, though; but I’m pretty sure it would have been a bigger risk if I was playing this type of games more frequently. All in all, Days gone is a small hidden gem for me; it doesn’t feel like it get enough praise. Although it has not revolutionized the genre, it made me spend good times with its character building and zombies hunting.
