Gameternel The Pedestrian Review

The Pedestrian is an amazingly fine game that demonstrates elegance in its simple and immersive HUD that fully belongs to the gameplay. Not only that, but it somehow manages to add new gameplay mechanics without ever leaving the player with a sense of being overloaded or, in the contrary, boared with what is happening. Exception made for the very last puzzle location (I am also speaking of the “blueprint” zone, iykwim), I have never, ever felt the challenge at hand was too difficult, too frustrating. I have never been able to play a strategy/puzzle game where I feel challenged without ever feeling overwhelmed meaninglessly. How did they manage to do it? It’s so, so good.
