Glassy Red Dead Redemption 2 Review

Beautiful but slow. If you're not into cowboy stuff the story might also appeal even less. Mechanics become rather repetitive. When you're not in "mission mode" the game is a nest hunting game, and if you just had all the side quest/"strangers" it might be more fun. But man the main missions slow the game way down. All the little things you can do are 99% just for show. You can cover your face, doesn't matter. You can hunt! You can give food to your camp! You can give money to your camp! You can upgrade your camp! You can rest outside, cook specific food stuff for small benefits, costum ammon and guns and bullets... and it barely matters. You basically get and can easily buy whatever you need. The gun fights won't be hard and rather scripted.
It's beautiful, was fun to play in for maybe a dozen hours. But it's to much the same, too slow (for me), too much Sims cowboy edition with some light gunplay.
