Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a quintessential example of what a Mario Kart game should be. I got this game in 2021/2022 and I have still been playing quite consistently since. This game has the most tracks out of any game with 48 tracks and this is even without the Booster Course Pass, which doubles the amount of tracks to a staggering 96. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe definitely is the most complete version of any Mario Kart game. There's so much freedom in the game, whether it is playing different modes, customizing items, and even customizing your kart, wheels and glider rather than just a kart like most games. Some people point out that graphics in the Booster Course Pass looks worse, but I don't really see the inferior graphics as a reason to not buy this game. To me, the variety and fun of these tracks outweigh the slight visual differences for sure. I highly recommend this game for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 and gamers who love racing games.
