groof49 Super Mario Party Review

Super Mario Party is one of the most overhated Mario Party games. I don't understand the extreme hate this game receives. I do agree that the number of boards is not enough, are too small, and that the boards are not very interactive and more blocky compared to other Mario Party games. Besides, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller cannot be used in this game, which is slightly disappointing. Challenge Road is also very linear, but at least I can still skip some challenges if the challenge is too hard. But the pros clearly outweigh the cons in this game. River Survival is and will always be a blast to play, especially with my friends and family. The fact that every character has a unique dice is also very nice. The minigames, although less than other Mario Party games, are designed extremely well and many use motion controls, which are very fun. Is it a perfect game? No. But is it fun? Of course! I generally recommend this game for families even with its flaws.
