GUMMY_mkii Rain World Review
Apr 15, 2026
It's both zen and hard, yet no puzzle
Cute and horrifying, yet not edgy
A metroidvania with no powerups
A roguelike with a fixed map
You're the protagonist of no major story, just a little beast trying to reach its lost family.
It's cruel, cryptic, random... As much for you as it is for the other creatures.
But it really changed the way I perceive how games can be fun. When it clicked with me, it pushed my first run past 300 hours of play before I even dared to finish it
This is the one of the most sophisticated, rich, magical and unique experience one can have with a screen and 8 buttons
