Harri ARC Raiders Review

Nov 23, 2025
The PvE content is genuinely fantastic. The challenge feels perfectly calibrated—tough enough to keep you on your toes, but fair and incredibly satisfying. The cooperative gameplay against AI enemies is where this game truly shines... Then other Raiders or better said Traitors show up, and everything falls apart. I don't want to shoot other Raiders. I came here to cooperate, to tackle challenges together against the Arc. Instead, I'm spending half my time dealing with griefing, toxic behavior, and people who seem determined to make the experience miserable for everyone else. The PvP aspect doesn't enhance the game—it actively destroys the fun that the PvE delivers. Arc Raiders could be an excellent cooperative shooter. The foundation is there. The PvE is genuinely great. But the forced PvP integration turns what should be a joyful experience into something exhausting and demoralizing. Unless you're the type who enjoys fueling your depression and watching humanity's worst impulses on display, I can't recommend this game. If the developers ever release a PvE-coop-only mode, I'd reconsider. Supplement (my observations): -If you use anything above a Rattler or Ferro, i.e. an Anvil or Stitcher IV, you will get thrown into a playlist with a lot of Traitors... I want to use the Anvil / Stitcher against Arc, not Raiders... -Crafting weapons like a "Bettina" is pointless - you will need many more shots and resources in comparison with a Ferro to kill a Wasp or Hornet. Even 120 shots aimed at the center of a Leaper won't kill it, and the Bettina's durability is nearly halved (Ferro, Anvil, and Bettina use the same ammo --> The Bettina fires faster and with more velocity, so math tells it should be much stronger - but it feels like a third of a Ferro). -Using a Bettina will also attract playlists with PvP and get extraction camped or shot by a sniper from nowhere (PvP is the problem, not PvE). -It seems that the only way to "enjoy" is to run a free loadout - so looting is pointless too, which makes the whole game pointless. -In my last session before I uninstalled Arc Raiders, I was in the game for about 2 minutes and was breaching one of the old husks - got killed by two shots from a sniper from nowhere (I looted nothing, so the sniper's only goal was killing Raiders for what - just to ruin everything?).
