Haven Harrison Control Resonant Review
Sep 29, 2026
Feels like its predecessor but plays so uniquely to itself. Yes the Protoype and Infamous comparisons ring true, but the sheer amount of time spent trying different builds, is enough to make this its own category of open city madness.
The story is just as cooky as the previous Control. A bit more streamlined no doubt, but still a good scratch for my Remedyverse itches.
Some slight frame drops in area transitions. Getting hung up on the terrain when using gravity shifting. Nothing I wouldn’t expect in any other AAA game at launch.
Excited for any DLC. Love the accessibility options. Love the punchy combat and the awesome character dialogue and voice acting. Some rough lighting and character models at times, but overall, VERY much worth the 60$
Way to go Remedy Entertainment!
