HellWalker DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations Review

I’m a massive fan of the modern DOOM trilogy. I have over 200 hours in DOOM (2016) and more than 700 hours in DOOM Eternal, so it’s obvious that Eternal has always been my favorite DOOM game. That said, DOOM: Revelations is, for me, the culmination of everything id Software has learned, refined, and poured its heart into over the years. It’s easily the best that id has ever delivered and, without question, my favorite DOOM experience of all time. The game is absolutely packed with content, and every time you think you’ve seen everything, there’s always something new waiting to be discovered. It truly feels like a final love letter from id Software to the fans, and it delivers on every front. Thank you, id Software. Love you guys—if only you weren’t under Xbox.
