Honorsiff Yakuza 0 Review

Feb 19, 2026
Yakuza 0, being the first entry in the franchise I ever played, became a truly unforgettable experience. The game takes us into 1980s Japan, a period marked by economic boom and inflation. This context is used intelligently to build both the world and its narrative, creating a setting that feels alive, exaggerated, and authentic at the same time. The side missions are one of the game’s greatest strengths. They are unique, absurd, and genuinely surprising—things I had never experienced in any other game. They perfectly balance the heavy drama of the main story with moments of unforgettable humor. The main storyline always leaves you wanting more, and its scenes are directed with a cinematic quality that borders on perfection. Yakuza 0 doesn’t just tell a story—it makes you feel it.
