Hosein Marvel's Wolverine Review
Oct 13, 2026
Marvel's Wolverine is a better game in almost everything than insomniac's pervious games and I honestly don't get all these hates it's getting.
Considering this and what they've achieved in the past and the problems they were facing during Wolverine's development they exceeded my expectations and have done an excellent job in delivering the best Wolverine experience in the matter of visual concept of all my life.
Story and gameplay are in great harmony together with a PS exclusive level direction; of course the game has it's problems but it's no where near the 6/10 that the majority of popular sites have given to it.
This game has everything that a Playstation user love about it's exclusives.
I didn't get tired of the combat system; in fact it was on the contrary. I couldn't get enough of it and didn't want it to be over.
My only complaint to combat and gameplay was that There could have been more waves of enemies in some sequences, due to the wild power of Logan, in most of the sequences when i was just warming up for the thrill of battles they would end and this didn't satisfy my thirst for blood:)
The nightmare trials that everyone are complaining about was one of my favorite parts of the game that actually made these challenges to mean something. they encourage players to complete them for something more than simple rowards or xp although they could've been more creative but becasue of relating them to Logan's past and giving them a logical existence that shows Logan's mental struggle to remember his buried past I can overlook that and credit insomniac for doing something with these kind of challenges that I've never seen before.
A HUGE credit to Liam McIntyre for his outstanding performance. At first I really didn't believe he could Ace it like this but he did bub:) I hope he wins the performance award in Game Awards and then some. And Of course we can't ignore Troy Baker either. He's done it again folks. For us loyal gamers seeing a great performance from him has somewhat become a habit by now.
In the end people a word of advice: don't listen to anyone's opinion about Art, Critics and social media haters included. Just heed the ratings of the games through official stores.
