I Jump Higher CrossCode Review

May 2, 2026
This game is unique. In story, in gameplay, in design. It's a game for people who are willing to make a commitment to it. There are accessibility controls but they can only do so much. You need to learn the mechanics of the game and the skills in your skill tree. You can't brute force your way through this game. There is zero voice acting. So if that's a deal breaker for you. Stop here :) I loved the art style. The story is fantastic if you can invest. The puzzles were honestly a bit much for me. I never fully got the hang of them and end up using guides most of the time. If you love puzzles this game may be the 16 bit RPG of your dreams! The music stayed with me. The boss battles were pretty epic. The levels were pretty memorable and unique. The side quests were for the most part engaging. There were comedic moments that hit, as well as feel good and sad moments. This is a really good game for the price. This is a cop out but if you like Chrono Trigger you will find something to like here. Get this game. One of the enemies is a snake with headphones on and he's jamming out while he fights you. Not a boss. Just an enemy. CrossCode is has everything, including a cliffhanger so far warning on DLC because it's not on the disc/cart. This game is great I don't know what binary is for 62/69 but that's what this game scores. Ya, my scale goes up to 69 like all good scales, ask your mother about it.
