IDisInvalid World War Z Review

Decided to return after years and was disappointed some aspects of the game. I played this game when it first got released on epic, way before aftermath came out and during that time i really enjoyed the game, however upon returning I was kind of disappointed at mostly the solo aspect of the game. for a game with a dedicated solo/offline mode i expect it to work well, however i feel like it doesnt, mainly due to the poor AI teammates, I feel like they have been heavily changed compared to the last time i played the game years ago. The AI in my experience doesnt/cant do anything, they dont pick up healing items nor do they heal themselves/others, they cant even fight, once zombies reach melee distance they will almost always die. As someone who enjoys playing solo and at my own pace this kills most fun in the game because i have to constantly babysit them. Aside from that, i feel like the hit registration is really off as i've been hit by zombies despite being out of range and sometimes they dont even have attack animations and i still take damage. One last thing I'd like to mention is that the game doesnt support modding which is a bummer, as i feel like mods could spring some life back into the game, mods that tweak AI or something like that, make the game more enjoyable, which is why I games like feel games like the Left 4 Dead series always had a consistent player count throughout all these years and why games like B4B die after a few years.
