Inksday Assassin's Creed Shadows Review

Can we move on from the awful RPG era of Assassin's Creed games? Can we please stop ruining the franchise with overly complicated combat? Can we please stop ruining it by making it so you don't one hit assassinate people? The game looks good visually and that is about where the positives for this game ends. Combat feels stale and old. The dialog is awful. The story is bad. The historical part of historical fiction is sorely missing. The "Japanese" setting looks nothing like Japan and is full of Chinese assets. The AI is really awful. You can just go prone mid combat and they lose track of you. I refunded this game after about two hours of hoping something that would save it would happen. Definitely do not recommend.
