Pure nostalgia. I really enjoyed replaying the entire original game, spending a bit of time on it each day. I’m not judging the AI controversy around the release positively or negatively — as a player, I didn’t notice anything. If I hadn’t read about it, I wouldn’t even have known. In any case, it’s still a very average title: entertaining, and back in the day it was original. The extra modes are just fine — something to pick up once in a while for a quick match.
