It oozes charisma from the very first second. The Critical Role team has absolutely shined in this project, and adding Hollywood talent on top of that was a perfect choice. The small management minigame is great fun and helps round out the experience by giving you a big dose of secondary dialogue with all the characters. Even if your decisions don’t have a major impact compared to other games in the genre, I see it as a strength — the story is exceptionally well told. The weekly episodic release was also a great decision, since following the game on social media added an extra layer to the whole experience. If you’re a fan of the superhero genre, this adventure is absolutely essential.
