Johnknight1 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Review

Feb 6, 2026
This game is more than too much in a lot of great ways. From a rather fun new single-player mode, loads of returning great modes, and easily the greatest roster of characters in any video game that feel like them (aka not Flanderized or feeling like shadows of themselves), this game is incredible. The amount of items, cameos, stages, spirits and collectables are overwhelming. The fact this game has over 1,100 tracks including so many of the best in video gaming is incredible. This game feels like a museum while feeling modern. The gameplay advances from the previous entry are significant, and the controls, movement and options for each character feel so robust and expressive. This game is one of the greatest achievements in terms of scope, and it deserves every celebration, party and hype it receives.
