KamicaloZ Windbound Review

Not what you're looking for. This game lacks communication on the levels of Helen Keller before anybody knew she had something to share with the world. The game feels like 3/4 of a fully fleshed out game, where once they had a stable build, they announced they were done and pushed it into production. For a game about water and sailing, you can't dive down into the water, nor have I seen ocean-like creatures to deal with. Any creature can be cheesed from a high vantage point and some rocks, so the battle mechanics are also a bit odd. And you can't change keybindings around, so you're stuck learning their way of doing battle. It's also frustrating that while you're in a lock-on mode, you will get prompts to interact with things, but it doesn't matter how much you smash the button, you can't interact unless you exit combat mode. It honestly feels like someone was so excited to announce it was done, and the ability to add to their resume that they've seen one title from conception to completion that they didn't bother to check if it was something they wanted to actually brag about later. So much potential, but lost to the winds.
