KBothum82 Avowed Review

Game is pretty fun. I've enjoyed stepping into Eora again, and this time from a first-person perspective. The combat is fluid and the plethora of options for your playstyle makes it interesting. I've mostly been plying as a sword and gun with a back-up arquebus. but next time I play I think I'll definitely check out the magic stuff more. This game does have its share of bugs, but the only one that's bothered me is the occasional crash bug. It happens a lot less now than it used to at least. Obsidian is doing their best putting out updates to help the game run more smoothly. The companions are fun, and I understand their reasoning for not including any type of meaningful romance in the game, but it still would've been nice. That said, I don't remember the romance in the PoE games to be all that either, so it's not a really big deal. Fun to hear Brandon Keener as another inhuman companion. Can't wait to see if they do more with this game. One thing's for sure, it's made me want to replay PoE 1 & 2 again.
