KeyDark Resident Evil Requiem Review

RE9UIEM finished. I went in with a lot of hype and it exceeded my expectations. It's in my top 3 games in the series for sure and I think it could easily be number 1. It does everything right: the horror, the action, the fan service, the characters, the plot, the return to Raccoon City... Switching between Grace and Leon throughout the story is a great move, it gives it a really varied pace that keeps you hooked. Despite being a completely new character, after the first few hours you connect completely with Grace and her determination. Not to mention Leon, who even at 48 is still the best character in the franchise. It's hard to see him reminisce about everything that happened to him in 1998. That ending, with a possible reunion between Leon and Chris to go after the connections and what they're doing with Umbrella and the BSAA, is the perfect ending to a well-rounded game. I can't wait to see how the universe continues to evolve. CAPCOM has done it again, 10/10⭐
