KingBily Denshattack! Review

What an exceptional game! I honestly have absolutely nothing to complain about. The worst thing I could say is that it makes heavy use of the right analog stick—other than that, the game is nothing but great! To be honest, I’m struggling to find the right words to describe the feeling this game gave me. Between the ultra-colorful art style, the music—crafted by some of Japan’s best composers—the endearing characters, the concept’s ever-escalating absurdity (reminiscent of a Japanese anime), and the pixel-perfect level design, I was completely hooked. There are no side levels, no difficulty settings to choose from, no long-winded cutscenes, and no tedious, annoying segments—just pure, concentrated fun! The game features around sixty levels, offering about ten hours of gameplay. Since it isn’t overly punishing, it’s easy to breeze through the levels; however, for those seeking a bit more of a challenge—or simply wanting to extend their experience—there are gold medals and bonus objectives to go after!
