Koiut Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Review

Claire Obscure is an incredible game. First of all, the atmosphere is exceptional. I was completely immersed in its universe, thanks to the magnificent environments and an outstanding soundtrack (crafted with great care). The mood fits perfectly and evolves as you progress. I’d especially like to mention the Siren zone, which really stood out to me. As for the gameplay, it was tough at first. I found it challenging, since I wasn’t really used to dynamic turn-based games. But as I persevered, the tension and satisfaction from perfect parries became the driving force of the combat, it feels fantastic. I have to finish this review by praising the music even more! It’s just so good. Traversing the game world with such an amazing soundtrack is a real joy.
