Kyotofu Hades Review

Great presentation, fantastic characters and a mighty soundtrack unfortunately can't save Hades from its critical problem : readability. Every element shines on its own thanks to gorgeous colours and immaculate designs, but when they're all together, they tend to accumulate too much and blur themselves with the rest of what's on screen, creating situations where, more often than not, you will be overloaded with informations and taking damage from unknown sources (i still have no idea why no one else ever points that out). Coupled with its frantic speed even in early-game, i just cannot be bothered to play for dozens of runs, even more so when the bosses are lacking varied and engaging movesets.
