Kyotofu Silent Hill 2 Review

OG Silent Hill 2 being my least favourite out of the first four games, this remake was a pleasant upgrade, mostly for the characters that i found way more palatable this time around. But most importantly, it's a remake that has the best intentions and succeeds in delivering a beautiful hommage to a very special game, while not being afraid to add some more stuff to a legendary premice. I miss the textures and graininess from the PS2 era, but the ambience remains horrifyingly surreal yet magnificient. My biggest gripe is that the length problem stuck too : half of the game could be removed or condensed, to fit into a 6-hours runtime total. Has some frequent technical issues on my machine.
