The game is good, the add on packs add clan mechs and a lot more difficulty as well as mega city combat. Solaris add on is as you would expect, and gives an easy and infinite revenue stream. Worth buying whenever it is on a 50% or better offer. I have played thousands of hours at this point, the missions will get repetitive without the add on packs. There are mods, some work better than others. Sometimes you do not want to play online, (MWO is for that and is also still very good) so if you are a fan of big stompy robots, give it a go. Best with a keyboard and mouse, no idea how you could use a controller with this game, or any first person shooter for that matter.
