LethalBrizzleGaming People of Note Review

Aug 20, 2026
People of Note is a unique blend of rhythm & RPG that despite being a joy to play and mash to, doesn't ever quite hit it's full potential. I'm not a fan of musicals (films) but the use of them in cutscenes here actually works well, the cast are great and elevate already brilliant characters. Combat is turn based but you time button presses in rhythm to the sound of your attacks. There's some excellent ideas here executed well, but oversaturation of puzzles and a relatively throwaway plotline detract from those aforementioned positives, ultimately leaving the game to fall a little flat and drag a little bit too long. I enjoyed it overall and do still recommend it, but only if you know what you're getting into and still find yourself intrigued. .
