lieinking Crimson Desert Review

This game has beautiful visuals and has a lot on screen. The combat starts off quite basic and they don't explain too much but it gets progressively better after learning skills and that you can do some combos. There are a lot of mechanics in this game which may not be the best but area nice touch to the game and there's so many of these. For example you can drop your loot and people will come over to search for things they want. There are novel puzzles, horse skills, you can tame wild pets and dress them etc. My biggest and pretty much only problem with this game is it feels like the gratification is delayed. Some of the side quests are not that interesting and I spend a while travelling, although there are fast travel points you can unlock. It just feels a bit slow at times, which is more prevalent at the beginning. This game doesn't deliver back to back dopamine for me. It's more of a oh I want to do some side quests or main quests or just get side tracked going somewhere and discovering something. Occasionally something interesting will happen that's not really in other games and it's quite fulfilling. I find myself continuing to play for those moments.
