Mace007 FBC: Firebreak Review

It’s fun…after you level up your character/kit, you teach yourself the poorly introduced game mechanics, the currently dysfunctional matchmaking system pairs you with players of a similar skill level who also understand the game mechanics, you unlock clearance level 3 with corrupted items for all 5 levels. During the majority of my play time at launch, these things didn’t come together and led to boredom, confusion, or frustration….but mostly boredom. When your guns feel weak and you don’t know why the literal post it note piles feel so tanky on the ground, you feel mostly boredom. You’ll figure it out eventually, but I’m not sure the juice is worth the squeeze when there are better competitors
