Mace007 Resident Evil Requiem Review

Enjoyed it, but as someone who’s played and completed most of the Resident Evil games, this felt extremely familiar and even bordering on nostalgia bait at times. I didn’t feel very connected to Grace as a character and was overall surprised at the level of critic praise given the iterative rather than innovative nature of the sequel. If you didn’t play Resident Evil 7-8 or 4-6, this going to be a great experience. Enjoy! If you have, you’ll find it a familiar and well done combination of the more recent high tension and slower paced games in the series like 7-8 and the older faster action horror sequences of 4-6. Still good. Just very familiar.
