Not sure I've ever been so conflicted about a game! What I can say for sure is that it's a game everyone should try for themselves. In many ways, it's utterly unique and the way its systems slot together is nothing short of genius. Never played anything like it. However, without spoiling anything, it's also going to be incredibly frustrating for many players. There's a high likelihood that, like me, you will figure out what needs to be done but be constantly stymied by the drafting RNG. There's plenty of strategy in manipulating the drafting and increasing the odds of getting the rooms you want etc, but it still involves plenty of grind. For some players, this is part of the fun and the pay-offs will absolutely be worth it. For those of us who're a little more time poor and prefer games to respect our time, it can be infuriating. So, long story short, play it (it's free on ps+) and make your own mind up. It's hugely innovative and in many ways could spawn an entire sub-genre. But for many players the grind will overwhelm the curiosity.
