Magnificent Bstard Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Review

Hands down my favorite FromSoftware title and this is due to the fact that it breaks away from the pattern of all the other games in both lore, atmosphere and gameplay. The timed deflection mechanic is fantastic in that it does not punish you for spamming but greatly rewards for not spamming and actually learning the timings. I think its only weakness is perhaps in the implementation of the learned skills which most turn out to be either mediocre or not worth the spirit emblem cost. The boss fights were so good and it took me literally 8 hours to defeat the ape boss for the first time and days for the 4 stage final boss. I hear there is no plan for a sequel which is sad but I do hope they at least do a spiritual successor because the gameplay was really that good.
