I wonder who the game can appeal to. If you haven't played the first part, the second one will probably disappoint you. There are far better metroidvania on the market that are worth your attention. Fans of the first part are also disappointed. The second volume's greater emphasis on world exploration didn't do much to understand it as a whole. It is rather the opposite. The Internet is full of discussions about the story, but also questions about individual sours. I could go on and on about what's wrong here. On the contrary, I would like to say that Axiom Verge 2 is a title that I respect for its attempt to innovate the genre. That it was completely successful is another matter. However, once you get the hang of traveling between parallel worlds, you get a more than solid exploration experience.
