MegabrainX Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Review

Before I played, I heard so much about how good this game was from lots of friends. Now, I can say the prologue got me crying. That is what made me want to continue the story. And I was intrigued all the way up to the end of ACT 1. After the change to the status quo in ACT 2, I kinda found myself with little motivation to continue the story. I had come out of playing Final Fantasy 7, so I was not too impressed and was just playing to finish the game to say I finished it. It felt like a pretty standard RPG story. Then, ACT 3 really shaked things up for me and actually made me want to explore more builds and explore the rest of the world! I did end up a bit overpowered for the story boss. So I would recommend going to do the story before exploring in ACT3. Amazing story, but I wish the gameplay had gripped me more.(Spoilers ahead) Spoilers: The ACT 3 revelation of Creators and Creations was amazing. The question that came to my mind was: Who are the people? The creators or the creations? Depending on which framework you pick, you would find who you relate to more. I picked the "happy ending" if you believe the creators are the people of this world. The second "happy ending" is for those who believe that the creations are the people of this world.
