Michael DeMauro The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Review

A fresh and creative take on LotR and crafting survival. Simple gameplay loop, relatively straightforward mechanics, significantly fun with friends in co-op. Maybe isn’t an ultra-real-looking world and has cartoonish aspects, some dungeons get a little repetitive, but the enjoyment you get from progressing forward and upgrading things always feels well-earned. As long as you don’t treat it like a Souls game… If you like Minecraft and LotR, you’ll love this
