While the game improves from the previous arc of the series, however the biggest problem I had with the game is the main character. Van is downright unlikeable, he is mean, selfish, does not care about his allies and never has a soft side. I don't like him at all because he tends to be ruthless and I can't accept that and I don't like the darker tone at all. However, the cast is likeable and are very good and the gameplay is solid. Overall, while the game is good and can be recommended to series fans and newcomers, the darker tone and the main character being very unlikeable and ruthless can be a problem.
