Assassin’s Creed Rogue is an underrated entry in the series. Playing as Shay and seeing the Assassin vs. Templar conflict from the other side is a really interesting idea, and the story does a good job of exploring that perspective. The naval combat is still a lot of fun, and the Arctic setting gives the game its own atmosphere. However, the game feels very similar to Black Flag and doesn’t add enough new ideas of its own. The story is also quite short and some missions feel repetitive. Still, Rogue is a solid Assassin’s Creed experience with an interesting concept.
