Need for Speed Payback is a fun arcade racing game with exciting races, satisfying driving, and a great variety of cars and customization options. The different race types and cinematic action make the game entertaining. However, the story is weak and forgettable, while the Speed Card upgrade system feels frustrating and unnecessary. Some events can also become repetitive. Overall, Payback is an enjoyable racing experience, but it falls short of being a great Need for Speed game.
