mohracy Top Spin 2K25 Review

Feb 9, 2026
I don’t consider TopSpin 2K25 a real tennis game. It feels like the only thing that matters is when you press the button. There is no real technique, no true shot-building, and no meaningful mechanics beyond timing. Even when you hit the ball at the correct time, in the correct position, and from a comfortable stance, the ball often does not go where it logically should. That makes the gameplay feel inconsistent and unreliable. This is the worst tennis game I have ever played — and I’ve played almost every tennis game released over the years. There are no clear rules governing how shots behave. It feels like the outcome of rallies depends more on how the AI decides to manage the match rather than on player skill. Now I understand why this game never achieved widespread popularity — because it doesn’t feel like a tennis game at all, but rather an interaction with artificial intelligence controlling everything behind the scenes. A game where you cannot learn patterns through practice is fundamentally flawed. The mechanics feel manipulated by AI to control match flow instead of rewarding consistency and improvement. It feels like the “hidden rules” change constantly, making it impossible to truly adapt or master the system. Do not spend even one dollar on this game. It does not deserve it. Honestly, players should be entitled to refunds for such a frustrating and poorly designed experience
