MON5TER Biomutant Review

Dec 1, 2025
I was very enthusiastic about this game at the very beginning. It had a nice simple story to tell, the game graphics is ok, the content is interesting, but the game play is lacking sensitivity. The game control is nice at the very beginning and it has kind of a continuous flow throughout the game. But there are fights e.g. Boss fights that are completely outbalanced, i had the situation of one of the world bosses that it regenerated life in an instant without break, and had repetitive attacks that every second hits you irrelevant how good you can parry or dodge. I had a tough time with one of those and as I said, this dudes can restore their life faster and better than the player itself. The next point is this mixture of a longlife RPG mixed up with some WoW flair, Shoot & Loot, an exaggerated charakter development tree, which feels like several games were thrown into a bin together as well as some asian story telling, because... why not? The answer is, it is too much! This game is losing its scope (if it has any) by overfilled functions, tasks and unbalanced in-game play and a complicated combo fight system where every attack done feels the same. Less is more, and that slogan is the best feedback for this game.
